Spanish Drama 5hrs.

Spanish Drama was on December 3rd and 4th, 2009 and Mis. Karen and Mr. Gaviria were in charge of it. In this activity I had to act as the character Mis. Karen gave me, which was of a housekeeper in the play Romeo & Juliet. This activity was not a challenge for me and I was an active participant, I was on time to all rehearsals, but in the day of the play, I arrived late because there was a lot of traffic. In this activity we all had to work as a team and collaborate with each other, which I did. I also learned some things about acting and improved my acting skills. I helped other people with their costumes and to memorize their lines.

Welcome-Back BBQ 2hrs.

This activity was at the school and the same day we played with the band. In this activity I had to sell popcorn in the stand. Ms. Ana was in charge of the activity. This activity was definitely not a challenge for me because I just sat in the table in front of the stand and people who wanted popcorn gave me their tickets and that was it. I didn't do much while sitting, but talk with my friends and put the tickets in a bag. I was on time and I was paying attention to see who wanted to buy the popcorn. Since I didn't do much, I didn't learn anything new, developed new skills, though I was working with Cristina and I helped her with the tickets.

Welcome-Back BBQ Band 1hr.

The activity was at the school, on September 12, 2009. The person in charge was Mr. Tomassi. This activity was not a challenge for me, though there were some pieces of music that were harder than others to play. I was an active participant in the activity and did what I was supposed to do, play my instrument. I was there on time and helped Mr. Tomassi arrange the chairs to play. In this activity I worked collaboratively with other people because we are a band and in order to sound good, we have to work as a team. Though I didn't learn anything new from this activity, I realized that playing in an open space with a lot of wind and rain is very hard, it's distracting. In this activity I developed the skill to play the saxophone with a lot of wind and rain. In this activity I don't think I helped anybody. I had a lot of fun!
